The above error can be caused by an older version of Malwarebytes ransomware protection. It is blocking the update and then removes the executable that is needed to run Movie Collector.
If you do not have Malwarebytes, you can still try the solution below:
The quickest solution for now is to download a new installer from your CLZ Account and reinstall.
For the future:
Make sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of Malwarebytes. The problem and blockade should not happen in the latest version of Malwarebytes!
Don’t have Malwarebytes?
- Download a new installer from your CLZ Account and save it to your computer.
- Right click the installer and click “Run as administrator”
