What's new in CLZ Comics for iOS?
A huge update for your CLZ Comics mobile app today, which introduces a powerful feature for browsing and filtering your comic collection: using nested folders.
Previously, it was only possible to use one level, so either Series folders OR Tag folders OR Series Group OR Storage Box folders, etc… But starting with this version, you can use nested folders, so for instance, use Series Group folders, then within each series group folder have Series folders.
Pre-installed multi-level folder favorites
The app comes pre-loaded with some fun and useful multi-level folder favorites. Tap the folder button top left to choose from:
- Grade / Series
- Grading Company / Grade
- Key Type / Key Category
- Publisher / Series
- Publisher / Series Group / Series (3 levels!)
- Purchase Year / Store
- Raw/Slabbed / Grade
- Series Group / Series
- Storage Box / Series
- Tags / Series
Using multi-level folders
To use multiple levels of folders, just select one of the folder favorites that has multiple fields, e.g. Series Group / Series. Then tap a folder to go to the series folders for that Series Group, then tap an Series folder to see the comic issues from that specific Serie Group and Series combination.
Create your own multi-level folder combinations
Of course, you can also create your own multi-level folder favorites, up to three levels, the possibilities are endless! Here’s how:
- Tap the folder button top left
- Tap the “Add New Favorite” button.
- Now tap up to 3 folder fields to add them to the top section of the screen.
- Tap “Save New Favorite” to save your new favorite.
- Finally tap the new favorite in the list to start using it.
Wish List Series list now shows “Want” summaries
A small change requested by the member of the CLZ Comics group of Facebook:
While having the app show the Wish List, it now shows “Want” summaries for your series entries (instead of the usual “Have” summaries.
