Ik gebruik Book-, Movie-, en Music Collectorz. Hoewel niet echt een verzamelaar, bezit ik vrij veel boeken, DVD's en LP's/CD's. Bezig zijnde een database op te zetten in Excel en in een ander Engelstalig programma kwam ik op internet opeens Book Collectorz tegen. Na uitproberen was ik verkocht. Een aantal jaren geleden waren de programma's nog niet zo geavanceerd, maar er viel goed mee te werken. Daarom heb ik ook de andere programma's gekocht. Er zijn hier intussen interessante uitbreidingen in aan gebracht.
Veel van mijn boeken en platen stammen uit de jaren 60 en vielen onder de noemer "underground", een aantal heeft zelfs nog geen ISBN-nummer. Zoeken via de programma's gaf weinig response, maar via internet is er een hoop te vinden, afbeeldingen kon ik scannen en teksten via een OCR-programma in de verzameling opnemen. Omdat ik een streepjescodescanner heb,geven de nieuwere boeken en CD's helemaal geen probleem.
Op het gebied van DVD's en Blue rays, is het programma onovertroffen. Zoeken via het programma levert een schat aan gegevens op, die ik handmatig nooit zou vastleggen. De nieuwe versie van Music Collector bevalt goed, omdat je nu via de lijst de nummers van een CD of LP (voor zover aanwezig) afgespeeld kunnen worden. Dit scheelt weer enige klikken.

Mijn kasten heb op een bepaalde manier ingedeeld in een aantal locaties. Als ik iets in een van de programma's opneem geef ik een locatienummer mee. Ik ben nu na enige jaren bijna klaar met de inventarisatie. De voordelen zijn duidelijk. Er is direct antwoord op de vraag of ik een bepaald boek, PC/LP of film heb, en waar die staat. Het is zelfs mogelijk aan te geven of het in bestelling is of je ernaar op zoek ben. Zoeken op bepaalde onderwerpen is mogelijk, evenals lijsten maken.

Sinds 2 jaar zijn we de Collectorz-producten Movie Collector (voor ons film- en DVD-archief van ruim 1500 video's), Book Collector (voor onze boekenkast) en Music Collector (voor onze CD-verzameling) gaan gebruiken op onze WINDOWS-PC. We weten nu wat we in huis hebben. De Android-versie voor Movie Collector die we ook gebruiken, heeft nu nog alleen raadpleegmogelijkheden, maar daar komt binnenkort verandering in.

Mijn start was met Music Collector, naast het vastleggen van de data, vond ik het zinvol om lijstjes uit te draaien, (als naslagwerk, dat hoeft tegenwoordig niet meer vanwege de komst van de iPhone Apps) Mijn 2e aankoop betrof Movie Collector en hierna Book Collector en natuurlijk vanaf dag één de iPhone Apps inclusief Barry en uiteraard ben ik gebruiker van CLZ Cloud. Als early gebruiker heb ik dan ook de gehele evolutie van de diverse programma's meegemaakt, zondermeer de moeite waard om al die veranderingen onder ogen te krijgen en te gebruiken.
Mijn belangrijkste reden voor aanschaf van bovenstaande programma's: collecties up to date hebben en in enkele seconden de gezochte informatie te kunnen bekijken. I love your software - one of my favorites I'm STILL updating is my Game Collector - because I have so many downloadable engine games that I can't just "search" & add & have to manually input - but I LOVE it, & Book Collector & Movie Collector & Comic Collector @ MP3 Collector & Music Collector & the soon-to-be-tried-but loaded Photo Collector.
I am a bit of a pack-rat with OCD and this software helps me keep everything in order, tells me where it's located, if I have multiple copies (of many things, I do, I'm OCD - but now I know! I can sell the extras!), everything I could hope for!

Greetings from Oregon far away from the Netherlands. I'm very pleased with CollectorZ products. In past, I had been using OpenOffice to add my vast list of movies. It was a pain in neck for me. In additionally, I had been collecting DVD and VHS covers' images all across the Internet. I tell to myself, there has to be a way to make my own personal collection of those things that I have, but wanted to be displayed in images.

This is where CollectorZ came in. I purchased: Movie Collector Pro, Book Collector Pro, Comics Pro, and Game Collector Pro. I did not purchase Music Pro because I am deaf, LOL. I was going to buy Photo Pro, but will do that later while I'm focusing on indexing up my items. In additionally, I purchased CLZ Barry because I want to have an ability to scan down barcodes quickly.

I have been recommending your website to my friends which they are thinking about coming over to take a look. By the way, I already "LIKE" your website on Facebook.
