I have over 3,000 digital comics and TP and keeping them all straight and making sure I do not purchase an issue I already have in a TP or some where else can be a real pain but this makes it a lot easier. I was trying to do it on my own but once I found this app it has and will save me time and money. At this point I wish there was a way to automatically tag issues that are in a trade so you do not have to go hunting them down as well. Also the up front price of $15.00 is not bad but over the years it can add up. I am a comic book reviewer and fan and have hundreds of comic books and have been wanting to catalog them all and this app made it SO easy to do it! I downloaded this app and used the trial version. It definitely sold me on wanting an annual subscription. I was at a comic store when I finally decided to make the purchase - only for the app to not recognize my subscription. Frustrating. Later that night I decided to email customer support right before bed, 1104pm. I went to bed. At 352 am I received a response and everything was fixed - how’s about that!
As for the app, it’s so satisfying to be able to get to the house after a run to the store and scan each of your books in before you even read them. Don’t let the reviews from people that didn’t read the details during the app update dissuade you from getting it.
Though I’m grandfathered in the subscription price is still hardly anything if you are even a semi-serious collector (it’s the cost of a comic or two). I don’t really need the slabbed comic pricing, but I’m still tempted to try it out for a year. I’m still floored by the people grandfathered in and complaining about the new subscription cost *shrug*.
Anyway, I have roughly 1,500 comics catalogued, and using stuff like the Wishlist when I’m checking out thrift shops or garage sales makes this hobby much easier.

Have been using the app for about a week after an online database I’d been using for 12 years announced they were closing shop.
CLZ is an excellent replacement and improvement upon what I had been using.

-Easy to barcode-scan new issues into the collection quickly and accurately.
-Auto syncing between mobile app and cloud-based counterpart.
-Deep database of comics and magazines from all Ages
-Excellent customer support! Emails responded to within 24 hours and efforts made to assist.

Suggested improvements:
-Improved interoperability between mobile and cloud app. Currently when adding a new entry to cloud app, all information is synced to mobile app with exception of the cover art.
-Ability to move/re-size windows around the screen. Currently when you open a new window it stays in place and you cannot view the window behind it. (This pertains to cloud-based app only)

Overall, I feel this app is quite worth the investment and I expect improvement and further refinements are on the way. — MobileHome on CLZ Comics

This app has everything I need as a collector. If you dont like that they give you a bunch of cool features to make cataloging your collection easy, and for a fairly reasonable price I might add, then go back to spreadsheets. To start with the most obvious, the price. Yes, it’s not cheap compared to most apps. But I have won all my money back and more in not buying doubles anymore because of not always carrying (and updating) paper lists. I always have my phone with me when shopping, and always check what I have and what I wish on the go.
The database behind the tool is amazing! I collect a lot of less mainstream comics and out of my collection of around 15.000 comics, I’ve had to manually add less than 50 comics. But please, complete the Paleo series ... An easy way to update the actual database from the app would be great, bolstering the power of the community to make it even more complete.
The online version is a great help too, allowing me to export lists and publish my collection to sellers/buyers/friends.
There are always small things that can be improved. And it’s great to see regular updates with new content. For example, I’m getting ready to start adding grades to my comics so I can check on the go if a copy is better than what I already have at home.

This is superb as a standalone app but sublime as part of an excellently well thought through ecosystem. Adding comics via barcode or series look up is intuitive. It provides endless possibilities in how to view what you have & what’s on your wish list, brilliant when browsing through back issues & needing a quick check of exactly which issue you’re missing.
It keeps getting better with each release, the most recent bringing the addition of Current Value which gets you thinking ‘Really, how much?’
One feature I particularly appreciate, having lost a previous db of my collection to a crashed computer, is the cloud back up so that can never happen again.
Their customer service is very friendly & responsive. Both for proving help & support when required to promptly investigating & fixing bugs. I also use the desktop program which is great if you want to make mass updates or need other more complex functionality. The app & the desktop work together seamlessly so that you can use each to their strengths. The subscription may be off-putting but I feel it offers great value for money.
If I had one caveat it’s that their Core db is a little light on UK titles, but they provide the functionality to fill gaps in their db.

I’ve tried a few different cataloging apps for my comics and none have ever come close as CLZ does for what I’ve looked for. Cataloging is my collection is so easy by just scanning the barcode. When unable to scan a barcode, searching isn’t difficult at all. It’s organized so many different ways to sort through which is awesome. Having it on my phone is great too as I used to buy a bunch of duplicates before. Now I can check my collection from the app so I don’t buy the same stuff I already have (and just haven’t read yet, haha!)
Another very important factor is their customer service. I had to contact their support team with my account and my database in the Cloud. Having the cloud is very helpful but when I couldn’t fix a mistake I made with my accounts they were very responsive, patient and helpful. I wanted a way to organize and catalog my old comics and this app delivers. It is really easy to add your comics and the fact that the app has all the cover art too makes even more user friendly. Seeing my collection grow as I added individual comics and series has been strangely satisfying. The process of going through things I haven’t seen in years has been a nice flashback. If you have comics I highly recommend this app. The cloud sync is awesome and there’s an upcoming feature where they’re going to automatically give you the ‘slabbed and graded’ prices of comics on your list. (If you have a great comic or think you do, look that up.)

CLZ Comics is a terrific app! It’s a great way to keep a catalog of my comic collection. It’s intuitive, easy to use and has a great database of comics. When it doesn’t have a comic already in its system, as was the case with some comics that I bought at SDCC, a simple email to customer service promptly fixed that. The only thing I would consider adding is a way to link up with Overstreet or Comics Price Guide to ascertain the value of your collection by selecting approximate grades for each book. I have been using this app for over 3 years. It's the only way to keep my collection of comics organized in one convenient place. This allows me to avoid buying duplicates, and see what I am missing in a collection.
Adding comics is simply just a scan and confirm, so adding a stack of comics takes a few minutes.
I like being able to edit info for each title, if needed. And the cloud function allows me to save my collection, when I upgrade my phone. I have gone through 5 phones.

Love this app! I used to use Comicbase but it its annual fee of $100-200 became not feasible. Entering my collection is quick and easy. I looove the notes section. It’s customizable so I can add important info like first appearances and what not. My only gripe and it’s just my ocd is, as far as I can tell, the section listing characters making appearances isn’t customizable. The want list is a god send! Instead of back issue hopping with sloppy note cards you have it on your phone!

This is a great way to manage your collection. The info about each comic book is very easy to read and the images of each cover is nice to look at. One feature you have which I found is a MUST HAVE for this app was the selection of which variant cover you have. I’ve bought several comics & didn’t know they had other variant covers for them until I added them into inventory using your app. When it came up “select which cover”, I was amazed that you offer that & the fact of there being other covers out there.

I just started using this app yesterday for a blind buy of huge lot of comics from an older gentleman. It’s a personal collection, and it’s obvious from the condition that the collection was loved, and that is very fortunate for me!
As some have mentioned, the barcode scanner is hit-or-miss, but the (lightning) speed, completeness, and accuracy of the database and app makes up for it.
**One plea to the developers: please, oh please consider integration of a price guide service. I would GLADLY pay double for that functionality, and I’m sure I’m not alone!

Easy and great tool for cataloging your collection and looking for issues you might be missing. I've had a running list in my phone for years that helps me keep track of which issues I have by number, but isn't much help with variants. I started collecting comics heavily back in 2013. Sooner than you realize, you have amassed quite a few comics and one of the things you start to do is buy duplicates by mistake.
Not anymore! This app keeps you from doing that with ease amongst so many other things. Very user friendly with their interface and the cloud is perfect for dealing with your collection on the mobile app, on the web, or the desktop version.

Easy to use and I had a lot of fun adding my collection. So easy to organise the wish list of the issues I'm looking for and to share it with my local dealer who sources stuff for me each month. This app is amazing. I have over 2,200 comics, so this is just what I needed. It’s so awesome to see what back issues I need when I’m at a comic shop. The new features like story arc and crossover folders are also really cool. I would love to see an ability to integrate TP and HC issues into the series’ list. For example, if I had ANAD Avengers Vol. 1 and issue 8, I could see all eight issues when I look at the series.
