Since discovering this several years ago, it's the only music database I use. Regular updates. Makes it so easy keeping track of what I have. Now a further 4 years have passed and I still have nothing but praise for this and two of its sister-programmes (CLZ Movies and CLZ Books). Even when sync fails, which it did recently, the staff (in this case, Alwin) sorted it in two or three days. It has a variety of displays to suit all collectors. I have been using Music Collector for many years and I love it! Keeping track of my 800+ CDs (& growing!) was nearly impossible before I discovered Music Collector.
Two weeks ago, my hard drive crashed. The technician who replaced my hard drive made a mess of my programs and data files.
The Music Collector support pages walked me through recovering my data files and cover images.
I am very happy with the instructions and the ability to recover all my information. I will continue to use and support the Music Collector program.

While it’s similar to Discogs, I prefer it much more. You can manipulate the artist name any way you want so that you can create a database that mirrors your physical collection. Want Tom Petty to be under “P”? No problem! Want to have Cream albums beside your Clapton albums? No problem! You also have lots of space to include any other information you want. Personally I keep track of specific information on the album itself - quality of pressing, flaws with the cover etc so that if I am crate digging I can compare copies with accuracy. I also keep track of when I listened to it last, if I’ve cleaned it with my ultrasonic cleaner and I even log reviews.
The point is it’s very versatile to augment your information and collection the way YOU want to see it. In my case, it acts as a database of information and I have an exact digital mirror of my physical collection. Why flip through thousands of albums when I can simply scroll through them?

i want to thank you for making this incredible program. I have been with this program for several years now. This has been the greatest program to help me keep track of all my cds. Even though its time consuming i find it challenging and fun at the same time. I keep finding more and more things to add to each cd and that is what is challenging.

I have been an audiophile for many years. With a large collection of Cd,s and a growing vinyl collection I was really struggling to keep track where they were filed. I was using spread sheets but there was just not enough information and it as also a tedious task. Then I found this app CLZ which is a music database. One of the beauties of this app is the simplicity in entering a new album purchased. 99% of my entries are via the barcode reader. Not only does it add the album but also shows all of the tracks, shows the cover pic, allows me to enter my personal file number and I can rate the album. It also gives a search facility by artist or song or genre. There is also my personal stats as well. I can not rate this app highly enough I absolutely recommend. — darlek1 on CLZ Music

I've been using this app since 2009, I believe. I remember thinking "Cool app, but I'll never use all the bells and whistles. The standard version will be fine." I have a music database with 3780 albums. Not easy to keep track of, but with CLZ Music I can organize everythìng the way I want. I do it to please myself.
