I have been using your program for well over ten years and love it. I catalog 11,000 of my 8mm, Super 8mm, 16mm, and 35mm films in addition to Laser Discs, DVD's, Blu-ray's and VHS.

My computer totally crashed last week...dead. No chance of recovery. I do utilize Carbonite so it took about 2 days to get everything back to the new computer but of course Carbonite does not back up programs. So, I went on the net and was about to download the free trial of Movie Collector and it told me wait... you already own it go here. I did, logged in and I was amazed that once the program reloaded on the new computer it synced back all of my collection!! I could not believe how it did that and I didn't even have to go looking for files somewhere in the restored section of the computer! I am amazed and impressed and most of all want to thank you for making this possible. I have used Collectorz for years now since the old days when you installed from CD's. In my collection I have listed 810 movies so to lose it all would be very disappointing to say the least. As a long time owner of Movie Collector (>8 years) I can say that it is a quality product on which I rely to organize and maintain my movies. Currently, I have approximately 2500 titles managed in Movie Collector. With so many it is usually difficult to know in which cabinet I will find a particular movie. Movie Collector lets me record the disc location info for easy retrieval. Easy to use, have not run into any limitations of how many I can manage (I suspect it is dependent on hard disk space), runs fast, intuitive UI, great service, cost effective ... and I can easily share a detailed list including thumbnails of the movies with my friends ... what's not to like?! — Brian Richardson (USA) on Movie Collector

Wow, two "dot" upgrades in a row moved me to send a thanks. the last one was adding the cool transparent "flex" detail view and removing the painful interruption of the "add to collection or wish list" box.

this one has two little pet peeves also fixed!
1. no way to show movies watched on amazon or other streaming.
2. "blu-ray disc" format to just blu-ray! what a p.i.t.a. this was to have to change it EVERY single time I added a movie!

I just wanted to commend you on Movie Collector v19.1.3. You added features that I was just thinking about. I recently switched from buying disc to almost exclusively buying digital-only versions. I was a little frustrated that I could not accurately reflect that in my collection and started to figure out a work around. Lo and behold, you read my mind and now I don't have to implement the work around.
Also, I have been recategorizing my collection with 'Blu-ray' for years. It's great that you finally caught up to me!

I have almost 2300 discs cataloged, they are stored in nice disc containers which hold 80 each. It is imperative to be able to quickly locate the discs as needed. This program allows that to happen. I would not be able to do that without Movie Collector. — Danual Todd Sr (USA) on Movie Collector

MoiveCollector v19 is terrific! I thought Quicksilver was a great view template, but you guys have really out-done it with the Flex template. Flex is so much faster and easier for finding info about a movie. The layout and use of colors, fonts, and font sizes are truly top-notch! I owe this site a massive thank you. I started an account back in 2017, almost half-jokingly 'cause I needed some sort of movie inventory (I own over 1,000) when I'd go to movie shops and wonder if I already had it.
Today my house was broken into and over 400 of my movies were stolen. Thankfully, I have home insurance so the property loss is covered, but this site here has been a huge help in picking out the movies that I need to itemize for both the police report and the insurance claim.
I never would've imagined that it would be of this much help to me in this sort of circumstance, but I truly thank you guys. You saved me one massive headache.
