Field types in the Edit Screen

In the Edit Screen you will find different field types:

  1. Basic text fields: These allow you to just type any text in them.
  2. Number only fields: You can only add numbers in this field (for instance an index field, or a price field).
  3. Multi/Single pick list fields: These allow you to pick 1 (or more) values from a list of predefined values (and you can also add values to that list).

Fields in the Edit Screen

Most fields in the edit screen will be self explanatory. Find a couple of fields below that you may have questions about:

  • Series Title
Store the Title of the Series here. If this series is sorted badly, tap the pencil icon and change the “Sort Name” there. It will immediately change all issues from that series to now fall under the correctly sorted series title!
  • Series Group
The Series Group can be used to quickly group several series together. So all your different series about Batman, the Series Group could be filled in as “Batman. You can then later “ field to see all your series about Batman neatly grouped together.
  • Index
Store an index number for your comics. Some users put stickers with the index number in their comics so they can easily locate them using the app. Therefor, each Index number is only used once. This number gets filled in automatically, and it also automatically increments on each new comic you add.
  • Collection Status
Tap on it to select a different collection status. This can move your comic from Wish List to “In Collection” after you purchased it.
  • Rating
Define your personal rating for an issue, what did you think of it?
  • Location
Define where the comic is stored in your home (which room? which box?), or in a 2nd home for instance.
  • Store
Define where you purchased the comic.
  • Current Value
You can put a current value in this field to show what the comic is worth right now. This field is not filled in automatically.
  • Condition
Define the condition of the comic: is it in mint condition? Teared pages?
  • Tags
You can add keywords to make the comic easier to find in your app. By adding tags you can also create Tag folders to quickly group your comics on certain tags.
  • Notes
Add your personal notes about the comic, you can basically fill in anything you want here!
