Cannot create file “sorttitle.TXT” – Access Denied

This problem can be caused by Avast or AVG anti-virus software.

Instructions below are for Music Collector but will also work for Movie/Music/Book/Game Collector.

Avast:

1. Open Avast Anti-virus and choose Menu and then Settings.
2. Under General select Exceptions.
3. Click Add Exception.
4. Click Browse.
5. Navigate to the appropriate Music Collector folder:
   C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\Music Collector\*
   Optionally also add this folder:
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Collectorz.com\Music Collector\*
   
6. Make sure the boxes are now ticked for those folders.
7. Close the menu and exit Avast.
8. Restart the computer.

Since AVG falls under Avast, the instructions above should be nearly the same for AVG.
