News: all updates for our software and apps
After many CLZ app updates with new features and “functional” improvements, we decided it was time to work on a big “cosmetic” update and give the apps a nice make-over. Pim, Bernard and AJ have been working on this for a couple of weeks now. Here’s what’s coming up in the next updates for iOS and Android:
- Updated Images View with configurable thumbnail size!
- Optional use of backdrops behind lists.
- New design of Preview template in Add screen
- Updated templates for details pages.
- CLZ Comics: New look for the series list.

User configurable thumbnail size for the Images View
Use the slider at the top to choose your preferred size of the thumbnails. Go for BIG thumbs, e.g. 2 per row (or even 1 per row) or opt for small cover images to get a nice overview of your collection.
New look for the series and issue lists
Both now show a nice backdrop behind list (optional).
Also, the series how has “lower” rows, showing the top part of the most recent issue cover.
Using a tablet? Enjoy full screen backdrops
On tablet, the backdrop is now full screen, continuing behind the folder list, issue list and details panel.
New Preview panel layout in Add Comics screen
A completely new look for the Preview panel, to give you a better preview of comics to be added.
