I would really like to see the "read" field in the app for books. The main reason for the program in the first place is to keep up with the books you own and the ones you have read and when you export to the iphone or touch, there is no way to tell if you have read the book or not...I am going to have to continue to export the data into a spreadsheet in order to use the data when I am at the library or bookstore to know if I have read a book or not. Please update this as soon as possible....thanks.

The read it field will be included in the 1.1 update for Clz Books :)

Congrats on the 1.1 upgrade. The read it and the new update facility are brilliant. I would like in the near future a location field in the more section. The reason being as well as having my own library I extensivley use the public library and as I use 'public library' as a location it would be very helpful to list those books as a list in its own right thereby making it easier and faster to find out what books I have already borrowed. Your thoughts please. Best regards

I really love the iPhone App - thanks for such a great tool. I mainly use it for when I am out in second hand book stores or thrift shops and need to know whether I have a book or not. For this it comes in great EXCEPT for not having the "condition" field which tells me what condition the book is in just in case I find a better version in a shop.

I noticed that others on this forum had mentioned this previously and it was wished for in the new App update.

Today I downloaded the new update to Clz Books and eagerly updated my collection on my iPhone and despite being happy with the changes I was really disappointed not to have the condition field.

I don't really have a need Location but can understand some people wanting it. So why can we not have the CONDITION field exported.

Plus what about Series? Many of the books I collect are part of a series. That's not so important as condition is and I am sure others think the same.

Thanks

It took me a while before I understood what you were referring to, but I think you are asking for a Location TAB, showing your books grouped by Location?

I have indeed seen two requests for the Condition field (in total, over all iPhone apps), which includes yours.
So we decided not to add it (yet). If we would have added all fields that have been requested, the iPhone app would have ALL Book Collector fields by now :-)

I think a Series field is more likely to be added, no promises though.

Hi Alwin

Sorry if I confused you. That is exactly what I was looking for, grouping by Location. Thanks

I like Sara_Florida's request for CONDITION field. That way it can satisfy many members with the least amount of change. I have a personal field for my library location but it could be changed to CONDITION and then I could have it on my iTOUCH.
