Clz Movies 1.1 crashing when updating

Hi - Just to let you know that I have tried using the Update function twice now, and on both occasions my iPod Touch gets to the "Updating Collection" banner but then after 5 seconds the application crashes and returns to the Home Screen on the iPod Touch.

I then have to re-boot the iPod Touch and use the "Replace" function for all my 968 movies as the "Update Function" does not seem to work.

Just takes longer - Hope there will be a fix soon

After you did the Replace function once, can you now use the Update feature?

After you did the Replace function once, can you now use the Update feature?

I have just tried it again with just 10 Movies and still the same problem - The application quits and returns to the main iPod Touch Home Screen.

Can you plug your iPod Touch into your computer and start up iTunes? iTunes should ask you if you would like to submit crash logs to Apple. Please answer yes to this question, so I could receive the crash log and figure out what's causing this problem. Also, can you send your database to movie [at] collectorz [dot] com?

Hi - There is no option to send Crash Logs to Apple when I connect my iPod Touch - (Nor anything in the Help Topic!)

I have Zipped my collection and sent it to MC(dot)com

I have the same issue. If I use the function replace that works well as with the 1.0 version but if I try to use "Update" function, MoC 6.4 generates the XML files but when it tries to send the file to the iPhone, the application closes immediately and I come back to the springboard of my iPhone. My iPhone is a 3GS 32 GB with firmware 3.1 official (not jailbreaked). When I plug my iPhone with iTunes opens I don't have the possibility to send crash report.

Here is how you can send crash reports to Apple:

Plugin your iPhone/iPod Touch
Start up iTunes
Right click on your device and click on "Reset Warnings"
Then sync your device
iTunes should ask you if you would like to send crash reports, answer yes to that question

These crash reports will help us to locate possible bugs/flaws.

i too am having the same issue. Everything worked fine with the 1.1 upgrade. I exported my entire collection with no problem. 2 days later I did an updated movies export and the iPhone program crashed. I was able to get the iPhone program to open again and I did a complete export of the entire collection instead of the updated movies. The whole collection downloaded fine. I closed the iPhone program. Every time I try to open it now, the program crashes. I sent the crash report to apple. A reboot of the phone didn't help.

Same issue here, only worst: after replacing the collection and moving around my list for a few minutes, the app crashed (back to iPhone's desktop) and kept crashing immediately when trying to get back in, even after a iPhone restart.
Solution is in another thread: delete the app and reinstall it.
Will wait for an update before I hit that Update button again !

Wish list: search / filter feature.

By the way, searching is already an option in Clz Movies. Just scroll all the way up in your movie list and type a movie title.

I'm also having a transfer problem. I'm not able to transfer even a single file to my iPhone. I've tested my other wifi-based apps & they are working fine.

MC generates the initial file. When it begins the export, the first send file line will reach 60% and the second line will reach 1%. After hanging for 20 minutes, I receive a message "Socket Error #10053. Software caused connection abort." I hadn't touched the iPhone or my PC at all during the attempted transfer.

I am still receiving the Socket Error #10053 message frequently, but over the course of 2.5 hours, I was able to transfer 300 files to the iPhone by sending a few at a time. I'm having a new problem now. When I try transferring more files, the app closes & returns to the main iPhone screen without saving my additions.

i have the same problem regarding using 'update'

once you try again there is nothing to update as the desktop app assumes it has already been synced. perhaps it should wait until the app has updated before marking them as being sent to the ipod?

regarding crashlogs, the latest version of itunes came with the 'iphone configuration utility' - connect your iphone and then you can view the 'device log' from there. a copy of relevent info is shown below - not sure if this is the same info as you would get from the crashlog though?
