I noticed that the update function seems to work fine, however the track listing of the most recent update is always garbled. It is the track listing of another entry in my database (the one that is on top of the list of records to be updated).
When I choose for the option 'replace' everythings goes fine although it takes much more time. Can this be a bug or am I the only one with this problem.

Can you tell me the steps to reproduce this? Because I tried to update my collection after I edited an album, added an album and deleted an album, but the problem didn't occur.

I will try to explain.

I connect my iPhone and musicCollector apps in the prescribed way.
I choose update.
Then the usual screen is shown with the listing of records in my database. In the top row is always J.S. Bach Harpsichord concertos. In the right panel it says how many updates there are to be imported.
After exporting, the newest addition to the database on my iPhone always shows the tracklisting of this Bach's Harpsichord concertos disk.

Thats'it. I can live with it, when I choose 'replace' everything is all right but it takes so much longer. The update function is a very handy options since i always like to keep my iPhone database up to date after every new entry in my Musiccollector database.

Hope this all makes sense.

Can you send your database to music [at] collectorz [dot] com? Then I will try to reproduce it at the office. Also, can you tell me what version you are using of Music Collector?

Remember to refer my name in your e-mail so I will get the e-mail.

I had some problems with forwarding my database but I hope that you received it via Chris. Looking forward to hear from you.

I have been trying to reproduce the issue with the steps you given me. But unfortunately I don't see the issue.
This is what I have done:

Opened your database and export all with the Replace function
I added one album
Again export all items with the Update function
I see the Report window listing ONLY the one album I just added
After exporting I checked for that album and it listed the correct tracks.

Can you tell me which version of Music Collector you're using?

It is the 8.7 build 1 Pro version, which is the latest one I think.

Since I'm not able to reproduce the issue.

Could you retry on your computer and make a screenshot of each step? Because I suspect this is a local problem.
