I am currently evaluating PC and so far like what I see.

I have previously used Corel Photo Album and also recently Google Picassa. The reason I moved from the latter was the lack of decent cataloguing ability.
Both of these had the facility to backup the actual photo files to CD/DVD, either full or incremental. Photo Album in fact reminded you how long since your last backup.

This would be a very useful addition to PC.

You can already Export all your photos to a folder using menu File/Export to Folder.
Choose if you want to export all photos in their original size or if you want to Resize them.
The folder can be on your PC, CD or DVD or an external drive.
You definately would not want to loose your photos so creating a backup on an external disc or drive is a must.
