Navigating the Main Screen
When launching Photo Collector for the first time, it opens an example database.
The nice thing about the sample database is that you can browse around, try out all the great features, and really get a feel for Photo Collector, without having to worry about messing anything up or losing any personal data.
So, give it a whirl... browse around and have some fun!
Here are some things you may want to try:
- Click around on the folders in the left panel. Expand/Collapse the different folders to see the photos that are stored in them
- In the top right panel, you can choose to view the Photos as thumbnails, or as a list.
- See this toolbar?
Play around with the different options, like increasing the thumbnail size, rotate and zoom. - You can resize the columns and panels by clicking and holding the mouse button between two screens and drag them left, right up down, in order to widen, or narrow them.
