** The Collectorz.com Survey: We want to hear it all **
The other night my wife Sytske and I were talking about you.
You may not realize it, but people like you have done a lot to help us
build Collectorz.com into what it is today.
In fact, your comments and ideas over the years have been so powerful, that
we thought we'd take a chance and give you an official survey where you can
tell us everything you think.
All the deepest darkest collection secrets on your mind.
We want to hear it all.
So, will you please click on the link below and take our very simple,
7-question survey?

We'd love to hear from you.
Thanks!
** Pick your own fonts **
Last month, Game Collector 3.1 was the first to have this cool feature, but
by now the Windows editions of Music Collector 8.5, Movie Collector 6.1 and
Book Collector 6.1 have received it too:
You can now choose your own screen font and font size.
Easier to read. Less eye strain. More personalized.
** Screens now use the Windows system font (Segui on Vista, Tahoma on XP)
** OR: Use Tools/ Options / Screen Font to choose your own font for all screens
** Use Ctrl-PLUS and Ctrl-MINUS to increase/decrease the main screen font size
Really, the change is stunning, check out some example Movie Collector
screens here:

Of course, the new font features will be included in the upcoming Comic
Collector release too.
** Meet The Collector: "Kalel" from Canada **
One of our customers is enjoying his comic collection too. In fact, he is a
'collectahollic', his own word. Meet this month's Collector, Dave MaClean.
"The only program I own is the Comic book one but thats not the only thing
I collect. My name is Dave MacLean and my home base is The Great Green
North (Toronto, Ontario, Canada).
Now most people if they came to my place would claim I am a pack rat but I
like to use a term of my own invention "collectahollic". Some of the
various things I collect are comic books (as a serious collector for more
then 20 years now), autograpahs, movie/tv related items, toys, posters,
sport and non sport cards, promotional items, DVD's, tv guides (the
official ones USA or Canadian ones), newspapers, coins, etc. I am not
working steady these days but sometimes work at Sci-Fi and Fantasy related
events were at times I have been lucky enough to in one way or another
sometimes work with the celebs. Plus in some of these cases I have been
lucky to get pictures of me and some of them.
When I am not working on my collections or working at the fantasy sci
fi/fantasy events I might be entering and winning some contests, some
writting, doing different kinds of performing or help running Toronto,
Ontario, Canada's best sci fi and fantasy group "The Intergalactic
Consortium" (now in it's fifth year of existence). Should you want more info
or have any questions feel free to e-mail torsf at yahoo dot ca. You do not
have to be local to be a member of the group but we hope if you are close
enough you might try to get further enjoyment of being part of the group by
maybe attending some of our meetings or special events.
Recently I have been slowly been getting into digital photography to help
in better documenting some of the celebs I meet/encounter and having a
better record of some of the unique experiences i sometimes have these
days.
Back in the early nineties I had my own hobby shop which I realy enjoyed
because it allowed me to have a job based on something that meant alot to
me and share some of my knowledge and experiences with others. I also like
trying to make new friends in contacts with other people especially over
the net in the hopes of seeing how things are elsewhere or maybe in the
hope of getting a new friend/trade pal.
Well I think thats enough ramble for me now but I hope you liked my
submission and if any of you want to discuss collections any further I hope
you will email me or PM "Kalel" on the Collectorz.com forum.
You see I also enjoy things Superman related and have been dubbed by some
people that use to work on him in the laste 80's as SuperFan.
Take care all and happy collecting."
