Custom Field Names
Music Collector has many fields, containing information on your albums. Year, Location, Notes, etc. Although there are many fields, it's possible you would like customize a field to fit your personal needs. Music Collector allows you to rename Field Names. You can even set a Field Default for many Fields. Let's check it out!
Please note: These features are only available in the PRO version of Music Collector.
Renaming Fields
All the available Fields in Music Collector can be easily renamed. Don't worry, Music Collector will remember the original name, might you forget and want to change it back.Click Tools > Field Names and the Field Names Window will show up.
Click the Field Name you want to change (in the left column) and click the Rename Button on the right. (Mac users: Double click the name you wish to edit). That's all there is to it. The changed name will show up in the Edit Album Screen and on the columns in the Main View.
