FAQ: CLZ mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android

The import file was not found

When importing your collection to our CLZ mobile apps via USB you may encounter the error 'The import file was not found'. This occurs when the import file is not placed in the correct location. it can also occur if the import file is renamed. Here are two important things to check:

  • The zip file generated while exporting via USB must NOT be renamed. e.g. The Movie Collector file is called 'clzmoviesdata.zip', if it's called 'clzmoviesdata (1).zip' it won't be found. You will have to rename the file, or export it again to a new location.
  • You must place the generated zip file on the Root Directory of your device.
  • If you haven't already, be sure to read through the USB export instructions.
