Field Defaults
Introduction
The Field Defaults in Movie Collector allow you to assign default values to movies when adding them to your collection. For example, If you are adding lots of movies purchased from Amazon, you can define the store using the Field Defaults. Each movie you add will then be assigned that store.
Setting Field Defaults
To access the Field Defaults menu, click: Tools > Field Defaults
Here you can define default values for your movies.
Note: When adding movies automatically, only some fields are used. For example, the Collection Status filter fields are not used when using the Add Automatically screen. They will only be used when adding items manually. When adding Automatically, you have separate choices available on the Add Automatically screen which override the Field Defaults screen.
