Updating Game Collector
Here at Collectorz.com we are always busy, working to improve our software. As too for Game Collector. On a regular basis we release a new (better) version. Don't miss out!
You can have Game Collector check for updates automatically, or you can check for them manually.
Automatically check for updates
Game Collector can check for updates at start up, weekly, monthly or not at all (not recommended, I mean, you will miss out on all those nifty updates).
Just click: Tools > Options > Check for Update
Manually check for updates
If you want to be in full control of the updates for Game Collector, check the Never option in the screen above and check for updates when you want to. Or use it to see if you are still up to date.
Here's how: Click Help > Check for Update
When your version is the same as the latest your Game Collector is up to date. When it's not, click the update Now button to download and install the latest version.
Updates in the same version are always free.

License policy
Your license is valid for the version of the product available at the time of purchase (Windows/Mac). Your license will remain valid for feature updates and bug fixes. Major upgrades require a new license, that owners of a previous version can purchase at a substantial discount!
A major upgrade is defined as having a new version number, e.g. from 5.11.1 to 6.1.2
Upgrading to a major new version is of course not obligatory; the latest release of the previous major version will remain available for download. Your database will remain available in a format readable by that version.
