Customizing Game Collector
Screen Font
Increase and decrease main screen font size:Windows: Ctrl + PLUS and Ctrl + MINUS
Mac: Cmd + PLUS and Cmd + MINUS
The options for fonts can also be found under the view menu.
Choose a different font:
On Windows: Tools > Options > Screen FontBe careful not to choose Webdings or Windings (or a similar graphics font). If it does happen (of course accidentally), click here to see how to change it back.
On Mac: View > Change Font
Screen Layout
To change the way your Main Screen looks:
- In the menu, choose View > Screen Layout
- Now choose one from the available layouts

Note for Mac users If you're on a Mac, use the Switch button at the bottom of the screen or the 2 small icons to the left of it to change your view as well.
The Full Height Details is a nice one, it gives you more space to view the detail of the selected game.
The Full Height Tree layout works well for most people though, which is why that one is selected as the "default" view.
You can resize the individual panels too, just drag
the dividers that separate them.

Templates
Most users like to customize the look of the game details in the lower right. Here's how you do it:
- Right click the details panel and choose "Details View Template / Templates for Details View" from the popup-menu that appears. The menu will expand to show you the available layouts.
- Choose a layout and another sub-menu appears with the available styles for that layout.
- Now choose a style and the appearance of the game details will change to your selected layout and style.
List Columns
Which columns are shown in the list is fully configurable. Just follow these steps:- Right click the column header of the list and choose Columns, then Choose Columns.
- In the Column Field Selection screen, use the checkboxes to decide which fields to show as columns. Check the ones you want, uncheck the ones you don't want, it's as simple as that.
- Change the order of the columns by dragging the field names up or down.
- When you're done, click OK.
