Adding a box set
When you're adding games to your collection, some may have come in a box. You can now create a box set and keep the individual games as separate entries in your collection. Or add multiple games, when there are more than one games per disc.
As so many things in Game Collector, this is easy and just takes a few steps.
- Open Game Collector and add the three Command & Conquer games to your collection, by clicking the Add Games Automatically icon.
- Select the three games and click Edit > Edit Multiple Games
- In the Edit Multiple Game Screen, select the Edition tab and enter a name for the box set and click OK.
-
Now, when you select a game from the box set, you see immediately that it's part of series of more than one game.
Editing a box set
Just as you can with your individual games, you can add specific information to your box set (such as a front and back image, barcode, price, release date, notes and more).
You edit the box set in the Edit Lists screen. Let's add a cover image to our Command & Conquer trilogy. Here goes!
- Click: Tools > Edit Lists, click the yellow folder and select Main > Box set list
- Double click on the name of the box set and in the Edit Box set window, select the Covers tab and browse and add a cover. On the General tab, you can add a barcode, price, release date and much more. When done, click OK and close the Edit Box set window.
-
In the main view, you can see that the box set cover is displayed as an image in the Details View. How cool is that?
