Tribulation (2000)

Tom Canboro (Gary Busey) loves his life as a cop. If it weren’t for his sister Eileen (Margot Kidder) always trying to preach Christianity to him, things would be pretty good or so he thinks. When his brother-in-law, Jason (Howie Mandel) flips out and is hospitalized, Tom realizes that there might be more than just a little psychotic breakdown. What he is about to discover is that this is truly a battle of good and evil. Tom finds himself rushing to his wife only to crash his car. When he wakes up, it is years later and the world has been taken over by a despot named Franco Macalousso (Nick Mancuso). This is a world where Christians are persecuted and called ‘haters’. People are marked. With no mark, Tom is considered an enemy of the state. He now wants nothing more than to find his wife and sister. Is it possible for him to avoid capture in his pursuit of truth?
