Otis (2008)

“Otis” is an upside down dark comedy about a serial killer named Otis Broth (Bostin Christopher). Otis prowls the streets of suburbia seeking victims for his grotesque urges that exist within his twisted world. He kidnaps Riley Lawson (Ashley Johnson) who he feels an unexplained attraction to. This sends Riley’s parents, William (Daniel Stern) and Kate Lawson (Illeana Douglas) into a dizzy. They call in the FBI but are met with a cowboy of an officer, Agent Hotchkiss (Jere Burns) who is looking to make a name for himself. Eventually Riley escapes and returns home and when the Lawsons learn just how inept the justice system truly is they take matters into their own hands but things take another turn for the weirder when Otis’ brother, Morton Broth (Kevin Pollak) arrives and now everyone is thrown into a plot of vengeance and high school proms.
