My Blueberry Nights (2007)

Jeremy (Jude Law) owns a café in New York City, which is frequented by Elizabeth (Norah Jones). Elizabeth finds out that her boyfriend has eaten in the restaurant with another woman, so she dumps him. Meanwhile, she strikes up a friendship with Jeremy, and it seems the two are falling for each other. Elizabeth moves to Tennessee, where she begins working and saving money for a car, sending postcards to Jeremy without revealing where she is. In Tennessee, she meets several interesting people, including policeman Arnie (David Strathairn) and his wife sue Lynne (Rachel Weisz), who struggle with their relationship and finally come to a devastating end. Leslie (Natalie Portman) borrows Elizabeth’s savings, but gambles them away, giving her car to Elizabeth so the two can drive back to New York. When will Elizabeth realize she belongs in New York with Jeremy?
