Plot

Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot is a feature film based on the adventures of the bumbling French hero and comedian Monsieur Hulot (Jacques Tati). In this film, Hulot decides that he has had enough of city life for now and goes on vacation. He chooses and exotic beach resort on the coast of France and what starts out as a relaxing week of fun under the sun turns into a series of adventures and comedic occurrences. While there he meets and courts the beautiful young French woman Martine (Nathalie Pascaud), but he inhibited by he his ignorance as well as his idiotic behavior.
