Invasion (1997)

Invasion was based on the book with the same title by Robin Cook . It tells the tale of an invasion of an alien life form which arrives in the guise of rocks falling to the earth. Touching the rocks somehow causes a virus that has been dormant in man to transform us into aliens. One of those infected is college kid Beau Stork (Luke Perry), who along with Dr. Moran (Kim Cattrall) and Cassie Winslow (Rebecca Gayheart) must rely on science and medicine to find a cure. They and a small group of the remaining untouched earthlings, are up against a plague of aliens thinking as one being, whose goal is to achieve total mutation of the human species.
