Ike: Countdown to D-Day is a made for TV movie about what most would agree, was America’s most tumultuous time. General Eisenhower was one of only 5 five star general to ever lead an American army. In fact, during operation: overlord, the invasion of Normandy, France, Ike was the ‘Supreme Allied Commander’ in command of all allied forces in the world! The film is a biography and chronological account of the events leading up to the largest military even the world has ever seen.
