Plot
Game 6 is the story of a down and out New York City theatre author named Nick Rogan (Michael Keaton). Rogan has gotten his big break when one of his plays is financed to run on Broadway. He and many of his closest friends believe that the play is the finest he has ever written and will be a hit on Broadway, but he is not so sure, as he hears that uber tough critic Steve Schwimmer (Robert Downey Jr.) will write the review. Under great amounts of pressure, Nick decides to turn his attention to the pivotal game six in the World Series between the hometown Mets and the Red Sox. He obsesses so much about the game that he even decides to skip the opening of his play.
