Dead Man's Shoes (2004)

Richard (Paddy Considine) is a young, heroic soldier returning from war to his native hometown. Battle has severely jaded him, as he struggles to relate to or sympathize with other people. One day his mentally handicapped brother (Toby Kebbell) is savagely beaten and nearly killed by a gang of street criminals. Richard begins to stalk them and frightens them severely. Then he makes them think that they are now safe as he stays away from them as a means for them to let their guards down. When they due, Richard begins a tyrannical crusade of vengeance killing or brutally beating them one by one until justice is served.
