Plot

A con man(James Belushi) and his young charge, Curly Sue (Alisan Porter) pull scams just to make ends meet. That is, until they literally run into a stereotypical female attorney (Kelly Lynch). The con man decides that Curly Sue really deserves more than he can offer her, and their association with the attorney ends up being lessons learned for all involved. Even though it is labeled as a comedy, don't expect to be rolling on the floor laughing. It has its funny moments, but it also has many poignant moments too. It is a human interest story first and foremost, that offers a look into life from both sides of the track, where each side has much to learn from the other side.
