Baby Blues (2008)

Baby blues is a common name given to postpartum depression that can occur in mothers. In this movie the Mom (Colleen Porch) is the stressed harried mother of a brood of normal kids. And normal meaning not terrifically bratty or creepy or six year olds who act like adults. Dad (Joel Bryant) has apparently been an abusive or at least a negligent sort of absentee father, away frequently because of his job. The family lives in a remote rural area and it is the height of winter and the thick snow has effectively stranded the family far from civilization. Though the family isn't perfect, they aren't the worst in the world, most families have martial issues. After the dad leaves to hit the road on one of his extended trips, the eldest of the children, Jimmy, (Ridge Canipe) begins to notice things may not be are normal with the family as it used to be. Can Jimmy do what needs to be done?
