Asylum (2008)

Madison McBride (Sarah Roemer) has had a rough life. Her father died when she was just a girl, and her much adored brother Brandon (Benjamin Daniele) committed suicide just one year ago. Trying to put the past behind her and come to terms with her brother's death, she enrolls in Richard Miller University, where her brother had been a student. Unfortunately for her, the school is more than it seems. Madison's dormitory was once an asylum, where bizarre treatments befell the teen inmates, under Dr Magnus Burke (Mark Rolston), until an uprising within the asylum led to his death, and the disclosure of mistreatments within the facility. According to University janitor, Wilbur Mackey (Joe Inscoe), the former inhabitants still haunt the halls. Along with her friends, nerdy String (Cody Kasch), former junkie Holt (Jake Muxworthy), abuse victims Ivy (Ellen Hollman) and Maya (Carolina Garcia) and athlete Tommy (Travis Van Winkle) Madison seeks to unravel the mysteries surrounding the Asylum.
