"Soo, maybe I'm not allowed to comment on this game, but here I am doing it anyway :D. I only played for like an hour.

I borrowed this game thinking I was borrowing Burnout: Revenge but found PGR3 in the box instead. Curious as I am ofcourse I slipt the disc in my X360. Having an HDTV and ofcourse knowing about the graphs of this game I was kinda excited. I played a few races before, but never got to try it out that much.

Soo what about the game.. I played 4 different kinds of racing in my career, and ofcourse I sucked (I'm not that good of a real race-sim gamer). The graphics were very nice indeed, but the gameplay to me seemed like any other race-sim, and because I never get good at them, I wouldn't know if how the car reacted was realer than any other game.

So no, I wouldn't get this game because I don't really like the (sub)genre. I like racing, but I like my racinggames unrealistic :D. If you like real race-sims, this is a nice one. I'd like to play Test Drive Unlimited too though, looked really nice on screens as well. "

"I really love PGR3. I own all earlier PGR games including the first Metropolis Street Racer on the Dreamcast and loved them all. It's great to see where they took the game for the Xbox 360 edition. The graphics are top-notch, the cars and surrounding are very hi-res, especially in HD, all moving smoothly. The lighting is a bit strange though, some sections in some cities are just too dark, even in HD, and you just can't see where you're going.

I completed the single player career mode and had fun doing it, though near the end it got a bit tedious because there wasn't enough variation in the challenges. Also, when you are at about a quarter of the career mode you have already earned enough money to buy the fastest cars in the game, even if you only get a bronze medal in all challenges. This kind of kills the incentive to win more races and earn more money.

Finally, I was disappointed that there were no Porsches in the game. Sure it has some RUF cars, but it would have been great to drive a Turbo or a Carrera GT in PGR3. Must be some licensing thing, because you never see Porsches in these games.

IMO, this is still the best racing game on the Xbox 360, although Test Drive Unlimited comes close."
