Alwin on Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy [Xbox 360], 10-12-2006
"Lego Star Wars II is a great game. It looks great, it's got lots of humor in it, it's about Star Wars, but most importantly: it is sooo much fun to play.
Some may find it too easy, because you can never really die. When your health reaches zero, your little Lego guy (or girl) just falls part in lego pieces for a few seconds, then re-assembles and you can continue playing from the same spot. Yep, that's right, you never ever have to start over from your last save point, checkpoint or, even worse, from the start of the level. Works great for me, it makes sure the game stays fun and never gets annoying.
The games has 18 levels, which take you through the story of the first 3 Star Wars movies (episode IV, V and VI). If you are a Star Wars fan, you'll love the way scenes from the movie have been recreated, of course with a little Lego twist to them.
Once you finished these levels in Story mode, there's a lot of other stuff to do too. For instance, you can replay all levels with your choice of characters, so that you can try to find all secrets and goodies, which in turn unlock more characters to play with.
Sooo.. this one gets the top score from me."
