AJMouse on Wii Play [Wii], 16-12-2006
"This is a very basic game. It features 9 minigames to show you how to work with the controller. It offers this in 1 or 2 player mode.
It's the first game I played on Wii, and it doesn't really offer anything other than to show what the Wii-mote can do. Sure the shooting game is fun with two players, and it even keeps a score between the two players. You ofcourse play with your Mii, a character you can create on your Wii, and save on your Wii-mote. So your friend can bring his or her Wii-mote and play with their own character on your Wii, against your Mii. Nice feature - I like.
The games open up as you play them. Not very hard, just start with the shooting game and continue from there. Everytime you play one game you get the next open to play. You don't have to achieve certain scores.
There's not alot of minigames you will replay after you went through it once. I showed it to my friends last weekend, they wanted to play, played shooting, the cow game (where you twist and shake your remote to race on your cow..:), 9-Ball, Ping Pong and Laser Hockey. The only games they replayed were Laser Hockey and Shooting. Those two are the only real games that offer some sort of match-feeling we thought.
Is it worth to buy this game? I'd say yes. It costs 50EUR and you get a Wii-Mote with it (so that makes two with the one that comes with your Wii). Seeing as a Wii-Mote costs about 40EUR that would make this game cost 10EUR. That's not alot of money. And I think that justifies buying it.
I'll give the game itself a 2 out of 5. There's just nothing to it. It's worth the money, but it's only fun for like an hour if not less. But hey, we got a Wii-Mote out of it :D"
