"Really decent!!
The whole storyline makes sense and the controls are easy to pick up.
The places are entirely realistic, and the inclusion of nail the trick, focus made and all the pro skater movies make one hell of a game.
A must have for all skaters with a PSP. "

"I like! I'm getting this for the PC, definitely. Or maybe the 360. Not sure yet.
I've been playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater since THPS2 and up. I've stopped at erm.. Tony Hawk's Underground. Never played American Wasteland. But I decided I wanted to try it out again, give Tony another chance. I got this game for my PSP. I completed the tutorial pretty fast (it was easy to understand and definitely do-able). Then I started my career. That's where the fun began.
You skate through places, completing missions for different people. I for one like to get 'SICK' on everything, but on some things I simply couldn't (needed better stats for that). I want to complete something right away and not have to come back later to complete it.
One of the missions was a 2 minute old school run to collect things like the letters S-K-A-T-E or get a 'SICK' score. Complete as many miniminimissions to get SICK for this mission (still following it?). It's like the old Tony Hawk games worked out in a mission. Nice!
Still I thought the controls were pretty hard on the PSP. I kept trying the joystick whilst I had to use the arrows for moving. I'm getting this for PC because the game rox, and I want to play it with the easier keyboard. 3 out of 5. Would've gotten higher for me if I had liked the controls. If you can handle this easyily on the PSP, you'd probably give it 4 out of 5."
