"Awesome story, awesome graphics, awesome gameplay, awesome modifications. Awesome!

One of the most anticipated games EVER on the PC.

Gordon is sent back by the mysterious G-man, to a very changed world. An alien race named the 'Combine' have taken over earth, slaughtered or enslaved millions(billions) and placed the remainders of the human race into urban ghettos. Gordon must pick up his old crowbar and put an end to the plans of the Combine and their human liaison dr.Breen.

Valve later announced that they will continue using the current game engine to continue the story. It will continue in the form of episodes. Half-Life 2: Episode One has already been released and Episode Two is scheduled to be released soon.
