Description

Players make their own stories. A player and up to three friends move into a village and just live life, extend a home, interact with their neighbors and explore the village. Much of the cast of the original Animal Crossing™ returns, including animals of all shapes and personality types: K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Blathers, Mr. Resetti and more. There are also a number of new characters.

Players move into village, buy a small house and then do whatever they want. Time and seasons pass as they do in the real world, so there will always be something unpredictable happening. Collect or buy items, talk to neighbors, go fishing, catch bugs, dig up treasure or hang out with human friends.

Tap the touch screen to type letters, draw designs for clothing or wallpaper, drag clothing or items onto characters or just lead them around the world. Using DS Download Play or Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, players can hang out in real time with up to three friends.

  • In this sequel to the wildly popular Nintendo GameCube game, players and up to three friends can hang out in the same village and interact in real time - either through wireless LAN or over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Now players can visit a friend's village from thousands of miles away.

  • The touch screen makes item management and world navigation a breeze. Typing letters and designing patterns are now just stylus strokes away.

  • Days and seasons pass in real time, so whether players want to decorate their homes, catch bugs or fish, collect brand-new items like hats and sunglasses or just chat with the wild and wacky characters in their villages, there's always something to do.

"I really enjoyed this game, really simple but kind of annoying but kind of cute but blah, it has a lot of things to do (sometimes) at night when everyone is sleeping there really inst much to do so usually you end up going to sleep too, that's how straight foreword this game is."

"well all i can say is this game is amazing. but i respect you oppinion aj mouse. to some people it may be boring but i am a big fan of this genre of games. at first i too thought it was boring compared to the gamecube version but once i got further i got more excited to continue. i now have the full house upgrade (5 rooms, i main room, 3 rooms and an upstairs.

there are also about 500 items in the game

plus hundreds of shirts
hats
and so much more i cant remember
i also found it fun (et time consuming) to make disigns and place them out side to make

roads
pools
towels
picnic blankets

and so on
but the one thing i found the most fun was geting to play wifi.
it is VERY exciting to see new houses
have competitions
and just talk

i do recomend this game to even new comers to animal crossing.

if that helps ajmouse it was my pleasure ^_^
happy gameing every.one"

"This game scores pretty high here on GamersOnGames.com each week, but I'm not a big fan. I got it because I wanted to know what the fuss was all about. I can see why people would like it, but I simply don't (so take this chance to write a positive review if you disagree with me).

I've played it for about 4 hours and that was a long time ago. The game is now collecting dust on my shelf.

The reason why I thought it was a bit boring was because to me it was slow paced. You run around trying to live a little in the game, completing very simple fun loving cute missions. I'm not the Gears of War/Half Life/F.E.A.R. type of action-guy, but this is a little bit to simple (as in not much going on) for me. There is alot to this game, but at the same time there's not.

I may pick this game up again some day when I'm really bored. I don't know. Please, someone tell me why this game is so cool :P. I'm giving it 2 points instead of 1 because I still think it's better than some of the more terrible games I've played. I would give it a 1.5 out of 5."
