Unknown to either of them, they are both being watched by Wonder Woman and her colleagues from the Department of Metahuman Affairs.Ryan's friend Panda is approached by a mysterious stranger who uses some form of mind control to convince him that the next time Panda sees Ryan he will attempt to kill him.Wonder Woman approaches Ryan and asks him to wear a wire when on his date with Giganta to which he reluctantly agrees. Later that evening, on the date, he has a change of heart as he is impressed with Doris's earnest attempts to go straight. When Doris uses the bathroom, Wonder Woman appears beside Ryan and asks why he has turned the wire off. At the same time, Doris is approached by a woman who may or may not be the same stranger who approached Panda, and tells her that Ryan is betraying her.Becoming Giganta, she and Wonder Woman fight until Giganta is knocked unconscious. Atom prevents Wonder Woman from beating her any further but as they talk, they discover Giganta has vanished.
