Plot: Vandal Savage fights against Wildcat's son who has transformed into a genuine were-cat.As some of the Fourth Reich attack STRIPE and his family, the JSA arrive and tackle them.Simultaneously, other members of the Society attack others of the Fourth Reich who are attacking the first Liberty Belle. During this fight, Damage uses his explosive power and momentarily knocks out the second Liberty Belle.Savage's fight againt both Wildcats causes their house to explode due to a severed gas pipe.Captain Nazi attacks Damage and removes his mask, revealing a hideously scarred face, explaining why Damage wears the same full face mask as his father, the first Atom.All three battles come to a close and the team return to their headquarters where Power Girl accepts the position of the JSA chairwoman, Obsidian and Sandman hint about things to come, Mr Terrific and Dr Mid-Nite find the latest member of the Heywood family has grown a steel leg, the short lived Mr America's partner takes up his friend's costume and Wildcat introduces his son to the JSA.In Arkham Asylum, Dr Destiny appears to hold Dream Girl prisoner.

Plot: The Justice Society fends off attacks on their families and friends by the Fourth Reich who are being directed by Vandal Savage.

Plot: Hawkman's interference saves at least some of the Heywood family, including the crippled Nathan, who was injured fighting Reichsmark. Hawkman takes him to the JSA headquarters so Dr. Mid-Nite can examine him and Sandman calls the entire team together to give them bad news. Someone has been killing both heroes and their families that have patriotic symbolism. They rush to the side of 2 families that have not been attacked yet, Liberty Belle's mother, the first Liberty Belle, and Stargirl's step-father, the former Stripesy. The meeting between Wildcat and his son is rudely interrupted by Vandal Savage, the person commanding the Fourth Reich, who discovers that Wildcat's son has some surprises of his own.

They start gathering decendants of former heroes, of blood and inspiration, to make the team into a real society. As they do this, Mr. America is investigating the murders of his family and following leads to the person behind them. And Flash and Green Lantern have a surprise for Wildcat, which may make him more involved with the team than just teaching fighting.
