Plot: In an attempt to deduce the location of the mysterious villain Modeus, the one foe the Plutonian ever feared, Qubit has built a small army of robots that think like the evil genius and set them to work divining his whereabouts. But even without any offensive capabilities, anything that thinks the way Modeus does is dangerous. And during a tense confrontation between surviving members of the Paradigm, the robots have all vanished.

Their conclusion, however, pointed at the Plutonian's citadel... possibly now the most dangerous place on Earth.

Plot: The Paradigm was the association of super-heroes that once counted the Plutonian among it's members. And since the Plutonian went rogue, they're trying to deal with the threat he now represents. Kaidan, a member of the Paradigm has found Alana Patel, the person who knew the Plutonian best. She worked side by side with him, unknowingly, for years and was called "The Plutonian's Girlfriend" by news outlets around the world.

But even though she is able to help provide some clues as to the Plutonian's background, she refuses Kaidan's offer of shelter. The Plutonian could find her anywhere on Earth, and she already counts herself among the dead.
