Plot: "The Value of I" - Taa's world is being attacked by criminals, and he is bequeathed a Green Lantern Ring and Power Battery to defend it. The way of his people is to act as a group, but the time needed to do so means many more deaths on his world.

"Nobler in the Mind...!" - El'Qa Sqa Zreenah fights hard against alien attackers, but is seriously wounded. He finds himself crash landed on a world that seems utterly devoid of fearless Green Lantern candidates. The only potential is Perdoo, who seems odd, but is willing to fight the good fight.

Plot: Eclipso's black diamonds are back and making the rounds. Eclipso seeks Green Lantern to exact revenge, and does so quite effectively when the diamonds reach Hal Jordan, Carol Ferris and Guy Gardner. The other Lanterns step forward to deal with the issue, but Eclipso knows how to give them the slip.
