Have you ever seen Harry Potter involved in a street fight against baseball players, dinosaurs and gun toting cowboys? I haven’t either but it makes for a nice little intro to this games releases list.
I bought Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood the day it came out and after a sort of rough beginning it began to exceed my expectations.
During the first few levels I was a bit worried about the gameplay mechanics seeming a bit stiff. Aiming was difficult to do and the option to slip into cover, and peek around objects, took a while getting used to. It’s not as well implemented as, let’s say Gears of War, but in the end it does the job right. So as I progressed through the game, and got more used to the controls, I began to enjoy Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood even more.
I think I’ve almost beaten the story mode but I’m definitely going to play this again. Great atmospheric game with some stunning scenery.
