thumbs-up.jpgWant to know what two gaming related news articles made my head spin this week? Check out these two items that left me totally flabbergasted. (…always wanted to use that phrase…)

Fable 2 New Downloadable Content

One of best news items this week for me was Lionheads announcement regarding new downloadable content for Fable 2. In See the Future you can choose to bring balance back to the virtual world of Albion. Of course, on the other side, it is also possible to let Albion slide further into darkness. To achieve this, several cursed items Murgo the Trader has on offer must be investigated. But that’s not all since you’re also given a few new quests, such as the Cursed Knight quest and the Ghost of the Snowglobe quest.

You can expect to see Lionhead Studios’ new downloadable content to appear on Xbox Live Marketplace on thuesday the 12th of May, aimed at a very affordable price of 560 Microsoft Points.

Mr. T!

Developer ZootFly announced they are developing a game starring non other than cult figure, and one of my personal favorite action heroes, Mr. T! Oh, and the game will also feature games developer - and living legend - Will Wright as an kidnapped American geneticus. According to ZootFly, “Mr.T will take on Nazi’s and their gigantic machines in the varied universe of South American rain forests, lost ancient cities, industrial complexes and contemporary military installations”. Hmm, can you say “B game”?

As expected the game will mix combat elements with platform action.

Mr. T taking on Nazi scum sounds cool. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for this title, FOOLS!
