Yesterday Satoru Iwata, president and CEO of Nintendo, announced a brand new adventure in the Legend of Zelda franchise. Great news for you Nintendo DS owners!

The game is entitled Spirit Tracks and by the early looks of it Spirit Tracks seems to be a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Link’s previous adventure on the Nintendo DS. The same visual style is used and this time Link’s primary method of transportation is by train. Not much else is known about story development right now.

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is going to be released later this year. For now, feast your eyes on this stunning trailer.
