Completed your favorite games but longing for more gameplay? Stop worrying. You can expect a lot of downloadable content for your favourite games in the near future. We check out three current top sellers who all start with the letter F coincedently…

Ubisoft recently announced they will release downloadable content for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the smash hit Far Cry 2. The content has been called The Fortune Pack and it will offer the following features:

* Four new multiplayer maps (Cheap Labor, Fort Fury, Lake Smear and Last Resort),
* Three new weapons to use in both single- and multiplayer (a crossbow, a silenced shotgun and a sawed-off shotgun)
* Two new vehicles (a quad and a unimog) to try out.

Sounds cool but I don’t know what to think of a silent shotgun? What’s next? A silent rocketlauncher? A silent handgrenade?? A silent RDS-220 Hydrogen Bomb???

(oh wait, just Googled on ’silent shotgun shells’… The things they come up with these days…)

Enter the beautiful world of Far Cry 2…

The package will be available in the beginning of December and is going to cost you 10 US dollar.

Downloadable content will also be available for Fallout 3.

…or enter the beautiful-in-its-own-way world of Fallout 3.

Three packages will be available for the Xbox 360 and PC soon. Januari of next year will see the release of Operation: Anchorage. You will have to travel to Alaska and free Anchorage of the Chinese Communist invaders.

The second piece of downloadable content -  called The Pitt -  will be available in Februari. You’ll be able to visit an industrial town filled with raiders, located in Pittsburgh where you can choose your side.

Last but not least is Broken Steel, which is planned to be released in March. This pack will continue the adventure once you’ve finished the main quest. You have the possiblily to join the Brotherhood of Steel and battle and destroy the Enclave remnants once and for all.

Finally, Fable 2 gamers will finally be able to visit Knothole Island again because the island has been covered in darkness. The landscape is covered in snow and all of its inhabitants are frozen. In order to save Knothole Island you have to face the trials of the three shrines. This package will be available on Xbox Live Marketplace and is going to cost 800 Microsoft Points.
