If you’re the owner of a Xbox 360 and you have access to internet then you’re in for a treat. Today is the day the New Xbox Experience will be available for download!

As you probably know, this new firmware completely redisignes your Xbox 360 dashboard. I personally didn’t had any complaints, but now the dashboard looks like it will appeal a lot more to the casual gamers out there. We’ve downloaded it and strongly advice you to do the same immediately; it looks absolutely great.

Here are a couple of features that immediately stand out while checking out the New Xbox Experience:

- Avatar:

You can create a virtual alter ego, an Avatar, that you can shape and dress to your liking. It can be seen while playing various games or chatting with friends for instance. Also, new items will be unlockable from time to time.

- Netflix:

Located in the Video Marketplace channel. If you have a Xbox Live Gold account and a NetFlix account you can watch streamed movies on your console in Standard Defenition. There are plans to take it to the next level: High Defenition. This option is only available in America unfortunately.
