Star Trekking
In 2009 (yes I know, far away) Star Trek will be released. Directed by J.J. Abrams this is gearing up to be quite a cool movie I think. Some new photos from the movie showed up last week, and also, check the teaser right now!

Now being released summer 2009 (instead of December 25th 2008) as Paramount thought the film would make more money in the summer, more and more photos are making their way online. Zachary Quinto who we all know from the hit series Heroes, plays Spock. The movie is about him and Kirks first meeting, the Starfleet Academy, the first (I think, I’m no Trekkie) U.S.S. Enterprise and going boldly where no man has ever gone before. The movie is also about a fight/war with Romulans from the future. Oh and Leonard Nimoy is making quite an appearance as well!

Like I stated earlier, Zachary Quinto will be portraying Spock, and I thought this image stroke a huge resemblance to his role as Sylar in Heroes. Signature shot choke move?

And then there is the new and old Spock I can’t wait to see them both in this movie, I’m sure Leonard Nimoy will be bringing a lot of comedy into this film.

I’m not too sure about Chris Pine as Kirk, but as Mark always says, J.J. Abrams equals cool (and apart from Cloverfield I agree with him), this is just bound to be a fun feast for the eyes. I will leave you now with the teaser (with a voice-over from Leonard Limoy):
