This week looks like it is Crash Bandicoot Week. Crash’s latest adventure, Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant, nearly hits all gaming formats. It received fair critics but I’m going to let this one pass, there are just so many more other interesting games available.

Apart from Crash Bandicoot, there are no other big names to be released this week, although I think Fracture can turn out to become some kind of sleeper hit. I’ve played the demo several times now and really can’t wait to start with the actual game. The fact that you’re able to use weapons, that cause massive terrain deformation as a part of warfare, can lead to some very interesting gameplay ideas. Check out the demo if you haven’t already: it’s like a thinking man’s third person shooter.

 Expect plenty of action in this futuristic third person shooter made by LucasArts
