Zorro! A icon, a legend, and a comic hero. Black mask and everything: everybody knows this dude. Zorro is his alias. In real-life he is Don Diego de la Vega. He got a secret hide-out, like the batcave. And he got a sign: the world-famous ‘Z’. Zorro, created in 1919. Some say he’s the first original American super-hero…
Zorro, that’s Spanish for Fox. And this fast and strong character is like Batman, or better yet: like Robin Hood. Zorro helps the weak, the poor people, the people who need help. He protects them against evil, against villains, against the bad guys who steal, kill and pillage. That’s what Zorro’s doing. When he’s ‘just’ Don Diego he’s a rich cool guy.
Right now Dynamite Entertainment is publishing a ongoing monthly Zorro series. But before Dynamite started publishing this series, a lot of other publishers published a bunch of Zorro issues. Image published some Zorro stuff for example, Topps Comics did, Western Publishing, even Marvel published Zorro stuff. Zorro cover gallery alert!

There’s also this Dracula versus Zorro series in our online db. Dracula versus Zorro… That sounds like a bad idea in my humble opinion. A really bad idea. But since I haven’t read the issues I can’t say if it’s good stuff or just really bad.

That’s Zorro for now!
And now, for something completely different. I’m planning a Jessica Simpson blogpost. Why? Everybody at the Collectorz.com office is hating on Jessica. I don’t know anything about her acting skills or her voice, I haven’t seen her movies, don’t listen to her music, but hey… how can you hate this?
